WINTERISING A CELL - STERILOR
Winterising your cell is an important step in the maintenance of your water treatment system, especially during the cold season.
To winterise your cell, you must remove the electrodes from the vessel. To do this, follow these steps:
- Unscrew the nut from the Sterilor vessel.
- Remove the electrode.
- Place the O-ring on the cap, then fit the cap onto the vessel.
- Screw the assembly back together using the nut.
Store your electrode in a clean, dry place. Visually check the condition of your electrode. If there is limescale, descale it using the Acidulor cell cleaner or soak it in a solution of water and white vinegar.
